Each Australia Day, the Hotel Radnor proudly announces its very own Woodchopping Team!

Excelling in this sport requires both time and resources, especially when competing at State and National levels. Our town takes great pride in our woodchopping achievements, and with the support of the Blackbutt Axeman & Sawyers Club, we select the top male and female woodchopping competitors to back in their local, state, and national endeavors.

We cover their uniforms, travel, accommodation, and more, helping them compete in additional events, bring home more ribbons, and perhaps even reach the World Championships.
